It is important to follow proper application instructions to ensure Defy Wood Stain will perform as expected. Defy Wood Stains have excellent wood penetrating properties that dive deep into the wood to block out water and provide lasting weather protection. The Defy product’s excellent penetration also helps eliminate surface buildup and the risk of peeling.
Do not apply Defy Wood Stain over preexisting stains or paints. Use Defy Wood Stain Stripper or Defy Wood Cleaner to remove all contaminants from the wood surface prior to staining.
