Masonry Saver (Defy) Epoxy Fortified Paver Sealer is formulated with special, heavy-duty resins and mildewcides, that help to reduce the occurrence of fungus while also encapsulating the joint sand to retard the infiltration of ant colonies. It is also a paver sand sealer that helps keep patios cleaner by stabilizing the joint sand, bonding it firmly in place, and helping to keep the sand from washing out during periods of heavy rain as well as helping to reduce weeds from growing up through the joint sand. When properly applied, Masonry Saver Epoxy Fortified Paver Sealer enhances the beauty of any paver with a rich “wet” look without causing the surface to become slippery.

I am looking for the best product for around my pool (which we are changing to a salt water system). I also want to use a product that prevents ant colonization, weed growth, & reduces mildew (I know, I want a lot). Would the Epoxy Paver Sealer be the best of your products to address all of these needs? If not, is there a combination of products that you would recommend?
Use the MS Paver Sealer for this.
The coverage is defined as 75-150 sq ft per gallon. Is that for one coat or both coats?
About 150 for one coat and 75 sq feet for two coats.
How long after application can vehicles be parked on paver driveway? Also, how long must you wait between coats?
24 hours. The second coat goes on as soon as the first is dry.
Can i use the Masonry Saver Paver Sealer on concrete pavers that were previously sealed 3 years ago with a water based urethane sealer (SealnLock)?
Yes as long as the previous coating has not discolored.
We have a cement paver patio installed about a year and a half ago and a sidewalk installed about 5 months ago. Neither have been sealed. We have had issues with ants and moss on parts of the patio. What is the best product for us to seal? We want a wet look but no shine. Also, need a product that is easy for a couple of seniors to apply.
Hello,
Our paver sealer offers both a wet look and a shine.
About 10 years ago I used your Masonry Saver Paver Sealer on a long walkway made of hand molded clay bricks. It worked fine in stabilizing the sand joints, but I now realize that it was the wrong product for the bricks. Their surface is too uneven, and the sealer collected in the pits and cracks, leaving milky residue. Now I would like to try something else, but I need to clean the bricks first. There doesn’t seem to be any film on them, but some appear hazy, which must be from the sealer (a patio made from the same bricks but not treated does not show this haze). I have power washed them and used Jomax solution, which helps, but the haze remains. I can’t use a very high pressure power wash because the bricks are fairly soft. What do you suggest?
Thanks, Alan
You would have to chemically strip off the old paver sealer.
which product would you recommend?
I am sorry but we do not offer a paver sealer stripper on this website. Do a search for Paver Sealer Strippers on Google and you can find some.
