Now Comes in 2 Sizes – 10″ and the new 14″ brush! Stain 40% faster with the large 14″ size!
Deck Floor Staining Push Brush will help you get your project done quickly. It does a great job of breaking the surface tension and forcing the stain into the wood. That means that your staining job will look good, and last longer. This brush is ideal for staining decks, fences, and wood siding. The 2 3/4″ soft fibers are set in a 10″ x 2.5″ or 14″ x 2.5″ molded plastic block. The block accepts standard threaded pole handles (as well as flow-thru handles). A threaded pole is not included.
Note: This brush works with Transparent, Semi-Transparent Wood Stains, and most Semi-Solid Wood Stains.
*It will not work with a Solid Color Stain.
Advantages
- 10″ or 14″ Width Allows You to Stain More Boards At Once
- Cuts Your Staining Time in Half
- Breaks Surface Tension and Forces Stain Into Wood Pores
- Saves Your Back and Knees
- Accepts Standard Threaded Handles/Extension Poles
Would it be best to apply with a spray gun or deck brush? I have vertical and horizontal boards, as well as railing and spindles .Thank you
Deck brush and stain pads.
Is there a video showing how to use the Deck Floor Staining Push Brush? I’m concerned about putting too much stain on the wood. I’ve done this before and don’t want to repeat the mistake. Thanks
There is not but is very simple. Just dip and applying evenly without puddling the stain.
Oh gee, I have another question. Can I do a brown like walnut over my sun valley pine?
You would have to strip and brighten the wood for prep if you want to do this.
I have been using defy original in sun valley pine for years. I just clean lightly and redo with 2 coats every other year. Would the extreme stain be better? If so, what is the equivalent color to Sun Valley Pine?
Longevity would be about the same. Natural Pine would be the closest color.
I ordered defy stain, etc. But I forgot to order an applicator. How do I know whether to choose a brush or a pad?
Either is fine.
Great way to apply Defy Stains to the floor of a deck!
